The subtly tapered shaft is made using solid American walnut hardwood, and finished with a satin clear coat.

CanadaThe cane is very well designed. Ergonomically and aesthetically. I take it most places and usually it becomes a conversation piece. I find simply holding it re-assuring at times. definitely not your grandfathers cane
CanadaCanadian maple wood and distinctive handle and tip - what's not to love. And the ability to order a replacement on-line was a bonus. My husband would have appreciated an option for blue but that is his only quibble.
